Ed Mills has 25 years of progressive experience in and around higher education administration. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and a Masters in Education from Penn State University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Colorado State University.
A skilled enrollment manager, Ed has achieved success in his career by focusing on the use of data and continuous quality improvement to recruit, retain and graduate a diverse student body and build world class student service organizations at three Universities.
At Sacramento State, Ed leads the Enrollment Management side of the Student Affairs Division including Admissions and Outreach, Orientation, Financial Aid, University Registrar's Office, Advising, Testing Center, Career Services, Veterans Service Center, Global Education, Student Athlete Resource Center and Enrollment Management Operations. His effective use of project and process management and broad understanding of integrated administrative software systems and web based student services helps him to keep students studying on-line vs. standing in-line.
